Many celebrities buy themselves a Ferrari mostly for showing off and staying in public attention, but when Jamiroquai’s front man Jay Kay gets one, it’s a different story! Jay’s a true petrolhead and also a Ferrari aficionado, he gets cars because of his passion, and we quit like that! His latest acquisition is a personalized Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M, which is very fast and very very rare.
He’s been spotted in Notting Hill, London with this snow white baby! This is actually a rare color for the Scudeira, and in this particular model it comes with naked carbon fiber side sills as well.
Scuderia Spider 16M is a limited edition car Ferrari made to celebrate their 16th Formula1 world title (hence the name). They will only make 499 units of this car based on orders and for qualified customers, such as Mr.Kay! The car’s powered by a race-prepd 4.3 liter V8 developing 510hp and is more suited for track use rather than daily driving. It can do 0 to 60 in 3.7 and hits top speed of 193mph.
Jay Kay’s previous Ferraris include F40 and F50, two of the purest Ferraris ever made, a 360 Spider, a 550 Maranello and a unique black Enzo which has been vandalized once by a chef!
