2009 ferrari f60 at Williams rejects Schumacher test request

When it was confirmed that Michael Schumacher will take Massa’s position in Scuderia Ferrari for the upcoming race in Valencia, since it’s not legal for teams to have in-season tests, Ferrari asked FIA and FOTA for permissions so Schumi can have a one-off test with the 2009 F60 car before the actual event. FOTA said yes, but now as it turned out, Williams has used its veto power to stop Michael from testing, How pathetic!

According to Italian sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, RedBull and ToroRosso teams also joined Williams in saying no to Ferrari. So Schumi has to continue his practice with his 2007 model car. He will also use Fiat’s Turin simulator, but he has to wait for the Grand Prix to try out the somehow problematic F60!
