The Italian F1 mogul Flavio Briatore has been banned for life from Formula1 and anything associated with it! Following FIA’s investigations regarding Renault F1 crash scandal at 2008 Singapore Grand Prix, the Renault team, Briatore and Pat Symonds all received heavy punishment, as the investigator found out that they deliberately planned the accident.

The Renault F1 team should also be banned for life from Formula 1, but because of their effort to help the investigator to identify the culprits, it will not be disqualified until the end of the 2011 season. Also Pat Symonds is banned for five years from any activity related to the sport. According to the FIA statement  Nelson Piquet Jr. has immunity from individual sanctions under the International Sporting Code, they have also announced that Fernando Alonso has not been involved in this in any way.

So Mr.Briatore is the one to take it all! It’s good for him you know, after all he will be having more time dating supermodels! Of course he is no jobless and that might affect his dates!
