Ford Focus BEV

Ford Focus BEV at Ford Focus BEV

These days every car manufacturer has to have at least one electric car in its production range. Here’s Ford try with a battery powered Focus, but this car has been so lucky to have its premier on TV and with Mr. Jay Leno himself! The focus BEV stars at Leno’s new show where he has a Top Gear style celebrity race, only much greener! The technology in this show car will be used in an actual production model which will go on sale in America in 2011

Leno’s Focus BEV is a ST model which has been modified to become a zero-emission battery car powered by a 140hp magnetic electric motor. It is fitted with Recaro racing seats, a full roll cage, a five-point racing harness and wearing a unique (and fitting) “Electric Orange” paint scheme.
