Kubica at F1: Robert Kubica signed with Renault for 2010

The latest news in Formula 1 transfer market is about the Polish driver Robert Kubica. The young and talented Robert who is racing for BMW currently and has a GP win in his career, has signed an undisclosed deal with Renault for 2010 season and beyond. As you know BMW has announced withdrawal at the end of this year, so Kubica is actually a free player who will fill up Fernando Alonso’s seat, who has recently joined Ferrari.

Kubica is a natural born racer and has proved that with a proper fast car he is a Grand Prix winner. Apart from being very talented, he is also very gutsy and is not afraid of going way beyond the limits! This ambition actually caused him some troubles as well, you may remember his terrible accident some years ago in which his legs were badly hurt.

Robert has commented on the deal:  “I am very happy I will be joining Renault in the 2010 season. I feel I have a special connection with this team because in 2005 I won the World Series by Renault. This gave me the chance to test with the team in Barcelona, which led to my debut in Formula 1,

I share with Renault a strong winning mentality and feel comfortable with their friendly and open attitude. I’m highly motivated and optimistic that together we can be at the front of the grid next year and hopefully fighting for the world title.”
