The all-new Bentley Mulsanne, unveiled at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August and Frankfurt’s IAA motor show in September replacing the old Arnage, is officially priced at $285,000 for the American market. The production of the Mulsanne will begin in Spring 2010, but first deliveries won’t reach U.S. soil until Fall.
Although the new Bentley flagship features a controversial design, but it comes with half a ton of refined and exquisite luxury you won’t find in any other car! Every customer can tailor their car to their desired specs through a palette of 114 paint colors, 21 carpet colors, nine wood veneers and 24 interior leather hides, all of which will be tanned using a decades-old process to ensure this future classic never loses its scent!
Furthermore, there is also a bespoke program as well in which Mr.customer can even choose a unique color for his car to exactly match his taste! Usually, this sorta options have terrible results, because well, not everyone has a great taste!
The Muslassne is actually a very fine blend of Bentley’s heritage and modern elements. Inside the cabin for example you still get the traditional Bentley layout, but underneath that there are lots of high-tech toys! Behind its heritage-inspired dials and new glass-effect switches lie leading edge features including iPod and mp3 connectivity, Bluetooth and a SIM card reader, as well as a 3G MMI system. Those opting for NAIM’s premium audio system will be treated to the world’s most powerful system fitted to a production vehicle – a 20-channel 2,200-watt experience.
