Thanks to the Internet you can now catch a glimpse of 2011 Ford Mustang before its premier at 2010 Detroit Motor Show. And as you might have noticed it has the five-point-oh badge on the fender, which means that it’s the GT with the new V8 engine. But as for the styling, even the most die-hard fan of Mustang would struggle to tell the differences.
The details of the 5.0 liter engine is already leaked out of the factory as we’ve covered it Here, it has 412 hp and 530 nm of torque and is mated to either a 6R80 automatic transmission or the MT82 six-speed manual.
2011 Mustang will also get a new efficient V6 engine with 305 hp and 280 ft.-lb of torque which can do 30 mpg on the highway. More details on this one can be found Here.
And here’s the first picture of the 5.0 liter V8. Ain’t she a beauty!
