Body kit specialist Vorsteiner has released details of their new aerodynamic ki for the Porsche 911 Carrera MKII facelift. This neat package will be available from January 2010 and can be ordered for all editions of the 911 series (C2, C2S, C4, C4S, Targa 4, Targa 4S & Cabriolet models), except the Turbo model. The kit’s components are made of carbon fiber, and designed to match with the car’s original body parts.
So, you get a front spoiler lip which will be attached to the car’s stock bumper providing more downforce and more fresh air for the brakes through two built-in ducts which are protected with black mesh grilles.
Then at the back you get an air diffuser with three fins in it, paying homage to 911’s racing heritage, and a pair of integrated twin exhaust pipes.
That’s about it for Vorsteiner V-GT kit! But as options, you also get a new carbon fiber roof replacing the car’s standard one saving 47 lbs, and forged alloys available in 19 and 20-inch.
