The latest edition of the lovely Ford Ka is ready to take the market by storm in 2010, featuring a new design based on Ford’s Kinetic design language which is just swell. Apart from being one of the best looking mini cars on out there, the new Ka also comes with new trim levels and can be had with either a petrol or a diesel engine.
Actually the powertrains do not change for the model, you still get the 69 hp 1.2 liter petrol and the 1.3 liter diesel with 75 hp, which seem to sufficient for this car while returning really good fuel economy.
2010 Ford Ka gets many different trims for every kind of budget! The basic versions include Studio, Edge, and Zetec, which come with the usual standard equipments you expect form a city hatchback. But if you want it to be feature-rich, then you should choose the Titanium edition which adds some extra goodies such as 16-inch alloy wheels, advanced music pack with better speakers, amps and a subwoofer, chrome handles, tailgate handle and tailpipe and Electronic Automatic Temperature Control unit (EATC).
The company also offer new packages for those who want to equip their car with luxury stuff even further. There’s the Ka Grand Prix in which you get 16 inch seven-spoke alloys, rear spoiler, chrome exhaust pipe and a bespoke Grand Prix interior/exterior. Then there is the Ka Digital, which gets the same toys as the Grand Prix but comes with bespoke Digital interior/exterior. And finally there’s the Tattoo edition with new door and tailgate handles, scuff plates and Tattoo interior/exterior. This editoin also has a Premium variant featuring leather interior.
