In 2010 Peugeot offers a new model of the beautiful 308 Coupe Convertible equipped with the new 1.6 litre HDi FAP diesel engine which meets the Euro5 emission standards. At 112 bhp, it is only 2hp more powerful than the unit it replaces! but it is cleaner and more efficient. It also has considerably more torque.

The new 1,560 cm3 four-cylinder generates a maximum power of 112 bhp at 3600 rpm and maximum torque output of 270 Nm at 1,750 rpm (285 Nm during overboost). But the best thing about it is the availability of this torque power in a wide range of rpm (135 Nm from 1000 rpm, 242 at 1500 rpm, 270 from 1750 to 2000 and 224 Nm at 3500 rpm). This means that no matter the revs, you never run out of puff like you do in most of small diesel engines!
