Infiniti revealed all the details and also pricing of the new generation of QX luxury SUV as the car make its world debut at 2010 New York Auto Show. The new QX shares many of its structural parts with the new Nissan Patrol, but comes with a whole new face and loads of equipments. The car’s priced at $56,700 for the 2WD model and $59,800 for the 4WD variant.

The power comes from a 5.6-liter V8 engine which is equipped with VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift) and Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG™) technologies to develop 400 hp. It uses a 7-speed automatic gearbox and features a new Hydraulic Body Motion Control system, Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Departure Prevention (LDP)and new Blind Spot Warning (BSW).

Standard equipment of 2011 Infiniti QX include a Theater Package with dual 7-inch monitors, Advanced Climate Control System, Standard Around View Monitor, 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, powersliding moonroof, power rear lift gate, leather-appointed seating, power folding and reclining 3rd row seats, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth®, Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System with XM NavTraffic® with Real-Time Traffic Information, XM NavWeather™ with Real-Time Weather and 3-day fore cast (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and Zagat Survey® Restaurant Guide.
