The latest model to go on sale in the Island is this Seat Leon Cupra R, which is the fastest and most powerful production car ever made by the Spanish firm. It comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine developing 265 hp and 350 Nm of peak torque.
As a result of that power, the 2010 Leon Cupra R has a 0-62 mph time of 6.2 seconds, and top speed of 155 mph. The car uses a six-speed manual gearbox with revised ratios for better performance. As for the economy and emissions, this model has an average fuel consumption of 35 mpg, with Co2 rating of 190 g/km.
The car also sports a styling kit consisting of a rear diffuser, discreet extended high level rear spoiler, subtle ‘R’ badging and the careful application of gloss black highlighting inside and out give. Furthermore you get 19-inch Potenza alloy wheels.
