Box on wheels is the perfect term to describe Ford Flex’s styling! That said, it’s the coolest box-shaped vehicle ever made, it even has a trendy name to appeal to the younger buyers who also need something practical. But it’s getting a bit old now, so Ford decided to give it some new clothes and jewelry, so it’d still look good down in the streets of New York! They’ve come up with the Flex Titanium Edition.

The new Flex Titanium features many new styling cues inside and out. On the outside you get choice of new colors including Red Candy, White Platinum, Tuxedo Black and Ingot Silver all coming with Tuxedo Black two-tone roof, and smoked head and taillights. The Titanium also comes with a new black chrome finish grille inspired by the one-off Flex of the 09 SEMA show.

Other exterior feature include blacked-out beltline moldings, fog lamp bezels and side-view mirror skull caps, and indeed the new 20-inch 10-spoke polished aluminum wheels.

Inside the cabin you get charcoal black leather-trimmed seats with gray Alcantara suede inserts, circle check appliqués on instrument panel and doors, painted alloy metallic finish on center stack and door panels, a perforated leather steering wheel and illuminated scuff plates. As for the new equipments there’s the HD Radio and one-touch PowerFold and tumble third row options.

Pricing for the 2011 Ford Flex Titanium editoin starts form $40,340.

“As we look at the reasons people have been buying Flex, there are some very consistent themes running through the research and the main one is style. Flex customers are attracted to the vehicle as one that reflects their personality and allows them to stand out from the crowd. With the Flex Titanium, we are responding to our customers with a vehicle that reflects the unique positioning of Flex in the marketplace.”
