Lexus is now offering a factory-made upgrade kit for its highly anticipated supercar, the LFA, called the Nurburgring Package. Only 50 units out of the total 500 LFAs will be available with this package which is inspired by Lexus’ actual racing car and includes 10 more horspower, special wheels and tires, tweaked gearbox and suspension and an aerokit. It is a bit pricey though.
Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package is priced at $70,000 in addition to the cost of the initial car which is a whopping $375,000. Lexus also charges you $20,000 just for a matte black paint job! 20 grand for a paint job!
In addition to the Nürburgring vehicle specifications, a package of special privileges is included in association with the Nürburgring course itself. The perks comprise, but are not limited to, private parking, co-pilot ride, one night at the Lindner Congress and Motorsport Hotel Nürburgring, private training with Nürburgring chief driving instructor, a Nürburgring branded jacket, as well as a one-year annual pass valid for driving on the Nordschleife and admission to ring°werk leisure park.
So a matte black Lexus LFA with the Nurburgring package will cost you $465,000. I know the car is good, but half a million Dollar for a Lexus?! I’d rather have the new Ferrari 599 GTO.
