Despite looking a bit weird, this car you see here is the closest thing to a modern-day AC Cobra. Called the AC Roadster it is a work of ICONIC Motors and was introduced way back in 2008. But now the company has finally got to the production stage and will put this car on sale in 2011. They even have partnered with AC Cars, so they are allowed to actually use “AC” in the car’s name.

The car’s main feature is of course the awesome classic looks, but underneath it’s a modern supercar. The body is made of advanced materials and comes with aerodynamic parts like adjustable air splitter. The interior too, while looking like a 1960’s car, it features advanced items such as in-dash display.The production specs are yet to be confirmed, but the word is AC Roadster gets a massive 6.9 liter developing 800 hp.
