Suzuki UK released new images of the facelifted 2011 Swift hatchback as the car prepares to be launched in Autumn. The car features slightly revised body, refined interior, plus improved fuel consumption and lower emissions. Suzuki says the new model is also stiffer and provides better handling than the previous Swift.
2011 Suzuki Swift is 90mm longer than the old gen, 50mm of which is added for the wheelbase which means it is more spacious inside for the passengers. It is also 10mm taller.
The car comes with two new powertrains, a 1.2-litre petrol engine incorporating Dual VVT (Variable intake and exhaust valve timing) with 94PS at 6,000rpm, and118Nm of torque and 56.5mpg fuel economy, and a 1.3-litre diesel engine with an incredible fuel consumption of 67.3mpg and CO2 emissions of 109 g/km.
