Apparently Renault is tired of being the second-best in the world hot hatchbacks, and wants to beat the mighty Ford Focus RS once and for all! According to the recent rumors and spyshots, RenaultSport is preparing an even hotter version of the current Megane RS which instead of 250 hp will sport 300 hp to match the mighty Ford.

As the recent spyshots suggest, the new Megane RS will also wear a new aerodynamic kit with a big front splitter and a rear diffuser. Other imaginable changes over the normal models should be included stiffer suspension, fatter tires, tweaked chassis and upgraded brakes. It is also likely that Renault produce an extreme lightweight version of the car, like they did with the old generation Megane.
