This is probably the first real picture of the all-new Peugeot 508, the replacement for the 407, and you can’t help but notice it’s based on the 5 BY PEUGEOT concept car revealed at Geneva Motor Show. The 508 though, will be unveiled at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. Although the 508 doesn’t look as crazy as the outgoing 407, but it’s still not what you call conservative!

Peugeot has tried to add a bit of common sense to that wild spirit, so the car looks more classy and discrete. Mercifully though there’s still some lunacy in its face which makes it very desirable. It’s far from boring!

The car will get the usual range of petrol and diesel engines, but it will also be available with a hybrid powertrain later on. Official pictures and details should become available very soon.
