Following Rolls Royce, Bentley too is now making special editions exclusively for the Middle East. Obviously by Middle East they mean UAE, Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain because those countries are the main markets for luxury cars in the region. Bentley offers the Continental Flying Spur Arabia and the Continental Flying Spur Speed Arabia, both featuring a range of additional exterior and interior features to create the ultimate in distinguished, elegant driving developed for the Arabic market.
The exterior of the Arabia Bentley is garnished with front fender badge, tread plate and ashtray lid badge – all bearing the Arabia signature, and special wheels. The Continental Flying Spur Arabia will get 14-spoke diamond alloy wheel, while the Continental Flying Spur Speed Arabia will come with sportier 10-spoke, 20-inch wheels which are also compatible with optional carbon ceramic brakes.
Then there’s the interior, and that’s where these cars really shines because after all Bentley is the master of exquisite luxury craftsmanship. These cars will benefit from ventilated fluted seats that effectively cool and warm the body, veneered picnic tables to the rear of front seats inset with vanity mirrors, chrome inlay strips to the door waistrails and deep-pile carpet mats with hide trimming.
And to show their attention to details, Bentley has even redesigned the fuel cap which is engineered in bright chrome with the famous ‘B’ badge. These models also feature provides secure storage of personal belongings, so your precious stuff won’t get nicked by valets!
Further options that offer the luxury and refinement to the customer include Adaptive Cruise Control with ‘follow to stop feature’, a rear-view camera, the iPod interface linked to the infotainment system and privacy phone handsets in the front and rear of the car.
Both cars are powered by the same W12, 6-litre engine as in the normal Speed models which produces 600 bhp (610 ps, 449 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. The Fyuing Spur has a top speed of 312 km/h, while the Continental GT Speed is capable of hitting 322 km/h.
