The French have always been good with electric cars. And for some reason they are very fond of electric sports cars! Years ago they introduced the Venturi, very recently we had the Citroen Survolt race car, and now this, the Exagon Furtive e-GT. You can think of this as a Grand Tourer Tesla. It certainly has the same amazing performance.

It’s got two electric motors developing a combined output of 340 hp that enables it to go from zero to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds. That;s astonishing, but even more astonishing than that is the range, which they claim is roughly250 miles or 400 km. Well, Tesla used to claim big number too, but in real world you always much less mileage!

Exagon Motors have plans to put this car in produciton by 2012.
