Here’s the official “Competition” TV commercial for the Cadillac CTS-V. It’s been filmed at the Nurburgring where the CTS-V has been developed. Cadillac is still boasting their 7:59 ‘Ring record even though it was recorded two years ago. They say it’s a proof that the CTS-V is as good as the BMW M5 or Mercedes E63 AMG. The fact is, it isn’t! The only reason you might buy the Caddy is because you don’t want the Germans. This ad is touching though, don’t miss it!
Well I think Mercs and Bimmers are better than Caddy becasue let’s face it everything European is better than it’s American equivalent
Except for Beer of course 🙂
and being faster around the track is not the only criteria of judging a fast sedan’s abilities
“The CTS-V is not as good as an M5 or a C63? How about elaborating why? I’m sick of snobs like you dismissing the V because it’s a Cadillac or because it’s an American car. PROFESSIONAL auto journalists all across the globe agree that the V is good enough to play with the German boys. So spend a little time researching the vehicle before spouting off your nonsense, MotorWard.”
+1
Well said. The BMW and Merc Kool-Aid drinkers just can’t handle the fact that the CTS-V smokes them on the track.
