Having a domestic supercar has something to do national pride, but you see it has to have some defining feature that’s not copied from others. This is the Rossin Bertin Vorax, which is apparently the first and only Brazilian supercar. On the surface they’ve got all the bases covered, fancy looks, huge power, staggering price tag, the whole nine yards. But it has no soul, no passion. It is just another supercar, nothing special.
The Vorax is powered by the 5.0 liter V10 engine of the old M5 which is tweaked and can be had with 570 or 750 bhp. And it weighs fairly low at 1,300 kg. So the performance gotta be incredible! And with a 0 to 60 sprint time of 3.6 seconds and top speed of 230 mph, it is indeed.
The Vorax is set for debut in late 2011, with a starting price of around 410,000 USD.
