Following the Forester XT-S concept unveiled at 2010 Australian motor show, Subaru released another special version of the car which you can actually buy. Well, that’s a lie! You can’t buy this one either unless you live in Japan. This Forester has been given the STi treatment which is no longer limited to the Impreza and is available for all models.
The Forester tS STi seems to be all the car you could ever want! It is a high riding family car with a powerful engine, a rally-bred go-anywhere drivetrain, lots of equipments, and superb build quality, all at a very affordable price.
This STi model gets special suspension components with sport springs and shock absorbers as well as flexible strut bars. It also has a sporty cabin with red-stitched STi seats, steering wheel and aluminum pedals. One very cool feature is the big red starter button!
The car is powered by a 2.5 liter flat-four turbo developing 263 bhp mated to a 5-speed auto transmission. And yes, it is also available with the unique STi blue paint! But the car is limited to 300 units, all as mentioned earlier assigned to JDM.
