After confirming the RAV4 Electric for Los Angeles Auto show via Twitter, Toyota released some teaser shots of car. Developed jointly by Toyota and Tesla, the RAV4 EV is kinda superior than Audi Q5 Hybrid, which also debuts in L.A., becasue it’s has a pure electric drivetrain so it’s zero emission all the time. But then Audi benefits from an internal combustion engine which removes the hassle of charging it every 150 miles.
Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. will debut the Toyota RAV4 EV during the Los Angeles Auto Show media days, on November 17 at 2:50 PM at the Toyota booth in South Hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Jim Lentz, president and chief operating officer, TMS, will speak at the news conference. Greg Bernas, chief engineer, Toyota Technical Center, and Shigeki Terashi, president, Toyota Technical Center, also will be in attendance.
