Even though the British sportscar maker Radical has its own racing series outside UK, like in UAE, most people have never heard of them. That’s probably becasue they only make purpose-built track-focused sportscars. But that’s apparently all about to change as they are going to unveil a road-going version of the Radical SR3 SL at the Autosport show in Birmingham.

This new Radical is powered by a Ford EcoBoost 2.0 liter engine out of the Fiesta ST which will transfer around 300 horsepower to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox. It’ll also be incredibly light at 1,488 pounds or around 650 kg. So it will be a great performance machine.

The thing is, who would want to drive a car as radical as the Radical in public?! Let’s wait and see the finished product.
