In Britain Mazda has joined the Facebook Deals, which works with Facebook Places service and offer special deals to users who have the app installed on their smartphones, offering a 20 percent discount on all Mazda MX-5s and the chance to win a Mazda MX-5 Miyako special edition for five months!

To be eligible for the 20 percent discount on a Mazda MX-5 the customer checks-in on Facebook at one of the five Mazda dealerships, ‘claims the deal’ and presents their deal voucher, via their mobile phone, to the salesperson.  The same check-in process applies for the competition, but then the customer must enter their details into the data pod in the dealership.  The five competition winners will be drawn at random at the end of the competition period.

The Mazda deal can be found at five dealerships around the UK between January 31st and March 7th 2011.  The participating dealers are – Machargs (226 South Street, Glasgow, G11 6JY), Romford Mazda (299/307 Collier Row Lane, Romford Essex RM5 3ND), RRG Mazda (288-292 Bury New Road, Greater Manchester M7 2YJ), MKG3000 Mazda (113 Heath Road, Twickenham, Middlesex TW1 4AZ) and Vospers Mazda (Honiton Road, Exeter, Devon EX1 3RS).
