Zagato finally released some official details on the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale, the production version of the one-off TZ3 Corsa.
The Corsa was designed to celebrate Alfa Romeo 100th anniversary, and now it spawns the Staradale which has a limited production of only 10 units. Three of them have already been sold, with the first one going to American collector Eric King.
Zagato has also confirmed the car will be based on the Dodge Viper ACR chassis and uses American power with a carbon fiber body. Also to make things clear and prevent further confusion, they reiterate main differences between the Corsa and the Stradale: The TZ3 Corsa is a track car. It is not a design exercise. It is a Neo-Classic car – The TZ3 Stradale is a Design Exercise. It is not a race car. It is an Avant-garde car – The TZ3 Corsa is a tribute to the Alfa Romeo and Zagato racing heritage. It is a one off – The TZ3 Stradale is a tribute to the Alfa Romeo and Zagato street legal heritage. Just 9 examples in the world.
No word on performance figures and pricing yet.
