Ram Trucks unveiled a dream hauler which is unfathomably big! Dubbed the Ram “Long-Hauler” Concept truck, it’s currently just a show car.

The Ram Long-Hauler is based on a Class 5 Ram 5500 Chassis Cab and is designed for heavy duty jobs, be it towing multiple or heavy trailers or on-site jobs that require moving big stuff around. Compared to the 550, it comes with added an 8-foot box and a mid-ship fuel tank, combined with a second frame-mounted tank and a third, optional, bed-mounted auxiliary tank, total fuel capacity is 170 gallons.

The Ram Long-Hauler is 24 feet long and 79.1 inches high, offering a wheelbase of 197.4 – inch with an estimated curb weight is 9,300 lbs. It’s powered by an inline six-cylinder 6.7-liter High Output Cummins Turbo Diesel engine. Like commercial trucks, horsepower is irrelevant and what you have to look for is torque. And this truck has it plenty, 800 lb.-ft. To make that usable, it also gets Kelderman Air Suspension front and rear and 19.5-inch Alcoa aluminum wheels.

Visually, this giant pickup truck features brilliant black paint accented by white gold metallic, a bull bar at front, custom hitch-access tailgate and wide wheelarches. The interior is upgraded with NVH package that ensures a quiet cabin environment. If offers 2+2 leather seating with a specific, high comfort driver seat and power-adjusted rear footrests and a rear center console that includes a refrigerator, cup holders and tray tables.

In terms of amenities you get 115V and 12V outlets front and rear and Wi-Fi. Additional cabin features also include a laptop storage area and a safe for valuables, plus an inductive charger and DVD player with overhead screen for rear seat passengers.

It’s not clear yet if Dodge is going to make this thing or not.
