The new generation of Toyota Yaris has already been revealed as the Vitz in Japan. Here’s the first pictures f the European version going on sale this summer.

The car looks sharper and sportier than the old gen and like that it makes the best of its compact size for a rather spacious and usable interior. The new model also features the Toyota Touch & Go, which introduces high-end connectivity features to small and affordable cars. It features a 6.1-inch display with touch screen technology for ease of use and functionality.

At launch the car will become available with three low emissions, fuel-efficient Toyota Optimal Drive powertrains including 1.0-litre VVT-i and 1.33-litre dual VVT-i petrol units and a 1.4-litre D-4D diesel.

The car will be manufactured at Toyota’s Valenciennes factory in France which ensures highest possible quality. Further specs and pricing are yet to be released.
