Esseesse is a kit for those who think the standard Abarth cars are not bonkers enough. Now you can have it for the Punto Evo hot hatch.
The esseesse kit adds around £3000 to the cost of a standard Abarth Punto Evo which itself is a rather pricey little car at £16,852. But then it gives you a lot more. Esseesse kit increases the 1.4-litre turbocharged engine’s power to 180bhp using a Garrett GT1446 fixed-geometry turbo, and recalibrated ECU.
As a result it can go from nought to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 134 mph. The engine is also Euro 5 compatible, averages 47.1 mpg, emits of 142 g/km of Co2, and comes as standard with the Start&Stop system, MultiAir technology and a Gear Shift Indicator (GSI)
Also part of the kit is better brakes with self-ventilated at the front, cross drilled at the rear and Brembo M4x40 front callipers, uprated Abarth springs and Koni FSD dampers, six-speed manual gearbox, and Abarth’s switch to transfer from ‘Normal’ driving mode to ‘Sport’.
