As you see in the picture above, there is a Ferrari 458 in the Cadillac CTS-V’s rear view mirror, and we all know what that means. Cadillac has been doing well recently, they announced a couple of new models and unveiled new concept cars like the ELR and the magnificent Ciel. But they seem to have got a bit carried away. Sure GM developed the Magnetic Ride Control, and then Ferrari took advantage of it in the 599 and then the 458, but to say the CTS-V Coupe is a better car than the 458 is like saying a Magnum 375 is better than a M4 Carbine machine gun. Pointless!
Check out the new CTS-V Coupe commercial after the jump.
all cadillac was trying to point out was that it is a pretty neat fact that a beast of a car like the ferrari pictured in the video, actually burrowed technology from caddy this once and considered such an important part of the automobile, the suspension system, worthy of the ferrari line…. as far as the ferrari being in the review mirror, its simply a metaphor… meaning this time cadillac is doing the pioneering in the suspension department, and ferrari is deeming their efforts so suitable in fact that they are following suit and using cadillacs effort, by considering it a worthy suspension system for ferrari….. pretty dang cool actually… caddilac is just using this fact like anyone with any sense would and they are sharing story with everyone else…. I can promise u ferrari isnt upset… they know the deal, so don’t hate; this is a proud moment for cadillac.. dont play the role of the hater and try to ruin it
Since i posted my comment the author of this has changed “M1 carbine machine gun” to “M4 carbine machine gun” while he has changed it to a rifle with more power, it is still not a machine gun.
So in your own words a Cadillac CTS-V is better than a Ferrari 458.. since an M1 carbine (which is NOT a machine gun) shoots a .30 cal pistol round vs. the much more powerful .357 magnum round (note the correct way it is written) which shoots, as it says, a .357 cal magnum round.
