The new-look Toyota Avensis has been unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, alongside the new Prius family.
The new Avensis appears to be inspired by the recently revealed Toyota Camry, and gets many sharp edges, a new grille, buffed up fenders and of course new head and taillights.
It is still far from sporty, but the changes do give it a more desirable look compared to the outgoing version. The interior is refreshed too, but the color combination and the whole design is still a bit dull.
Official specs ad details of the new Avensis are yet to be released.
Also at IAA, Toyota revealed the updated Prius joined by Prius Plug-in and Prius+, Europe’s first full hybrid seven-seat vehicle, and the new-look 2012 Hilux and three-door version of new Yaris.
