Now, this is only semi-official, but Lexus claims their LFA supercar, fitted with the Nurburgring Package which includes a few more horses, better aerodynamics and uprated suspension, has set a new ‘Ring lap record of 7 minutes 14 seconds. That is like four seconds faster the the Porsche GT2 RS’ record. Thing is though, it was announced via twitter. There’s still no official data or a video to verify that. That probably will follow soon, so stay tuned.
