Subaru is reportedly preparing decent outfit for the BRZ concept car, which appeared at IAA wearing almost nothing.
According to Car&Driver, the BRZ concept car will make its debut at the next Los Angeles Auto Show in November. That car will be just be a concept preview of the actual model, which will be revealed alongside its Toyota sibling at the Tokyo Motor show in December.
The report says even Toyota’s FT-86 looks nothing like the actual production version. They want to keep that a secret until the very last minute.
C&D also gives us some details on the car’s low center of gravity which is 17.7 inches, and it’s transmissions, a six-speed automatic and a six-speed manual, and no CVT, and it’s engine. The last bit is a bit disappointing, as it was with the Toyota’s version. They only get dismal 200 hp 2.0 liter engines.
The Toyota version also goes on sale in America under Scion brand.
