Helmet cams don’t really give you an idea what the driver inside a Formula  car actually sees while he races. For that you need an eye-level camera. And Lucas di Grassi was kind enough to use one as he laps Barcelona circuit and bring you this amazing footage. F1 video games can also give you a similar experience. This won’t catch on, of course, because as Lucas says it totally obscures the driver’s view and he had to drive with one eye!
