SSC is working on new gear ratios for the Tuatara transmission. To test it out, they bolted the transmission on an Aero and went out to have some tests. Now, for ordinary cars, this would be a 0 to 60, or 0 to 100 mph test. But seeing as the Aero is ain’t no ordinary car, it had to be 0 to 200 mph. They hit 200mph from standing still in just 16 seconds. The new 7-speed transmission seems to be up to the job for the Tuatara.
