Ford is now taking orders for the ll-new 2012 Ford Focus Electric online at Ford.com and at certified dealers.
According to Ford’s website, which also lets you customize the car to your desired specs, the electric Focus, available in two colors, is priced from $39,200 excluding destination and handling charge.
Speaking about power and performance of an electric car is irrelevant. So let’s talk about its charging time! Ford says this Focus Electric’s battery can be recharged in just over three hours using a 240-volt charging station, about half the cord.
