RTL GRIP’s Matthias Malmedie goes to California to try out the new 2012 Porsche 991. As always, it’s a detailed review of the car, but this being Matthias it’s not boring. Granted, the German commentary is a bit of a bugger, but you don’t need to understand the language to enjoy views of this properly hot car and all that sideways action.

Porsche 991 Carrera comes with 350 PS and the Carrera S with 400 PS. Both models can be had with either a 7-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK. The new 911 has an aluminum body and wider track at front, so although it’s bigger than the 997 it is actually 40 kg lighter. Later in 2012 there will be a Turbo and a GT3 version of the car, and those will be as good as cars can get really!
