The new Toyota Camry’s huge media campaign continues with a new ad boasting its Entune system. It allows you check sports scores, listen streaming radio, buy movie tickets or make restaurant reservations. There is a relevant celebrity for each feature. That’s fine, expect that for most people it is Kelly Clarkson with three fat men. No body has a clue who these guys are. Kelly herself is looking quite chubby, but let’s not go there!
I think she looks healthy and incredibly SEXY! She looks like a real woman, not the undernourished waifs you see in most modern ads. She looks GREAT!
I just saw Kelly Clarkson in concert yesterday, I recognized her instantly and to be totally honest, she does look horrible in this commercial. She is deffinately not fat it’s her make up and wardrobe. She naturally has cheeks, some of us aren’t blessed with the perfect body, and so when putting her in a strapless outfit it makes her face look bigger. She deffinately looked a hell of a lot better in concert. And all you ignorant idiots it’s nice to know that god forbid a girl has meat on her bones because well all have the wrath of fucking bully’s and scum on earth who can’t appreciate us for who we are. People like you are why 98% of models have eating disorders. I’m 110lbs at 5’2 and I have to say at 17 years old today I am damn proud of my looks and weight and the rest of you who have something to say can go to hell because Kelly Clarkson and beautiful just the way she is. And if society keeps going this way you can forget future because no matter what you say, there’s no denying all your asses came from a FEMALE. A fat pregnant FEMALE. And don’t tell me pregnancys an exception because y’all call every other celeberity fat who just had a kid. So the point is, keep your nasty comments to yourself. Your mom was just as fat if not fatter at one point.
Kelly, don’t listen to’em. I did not know who you were before this commericial, because I am not an Idol fan. Your looks and overall ‘Swagger’ came through in this commercial and that’s what got my attention. As far as comments about your weight gain, EVERYBODY needs to hit the gym at least twice a week….just for your health sake. By trhe way, all those who feel negative about her size….when was the last time someone ask YOU to appear in THEIR commercial/video? People in glass houses……
There’s a difference between “real woman” and obese. A staggering % of people are overweight, and celebrating someone’s obesity is unhealthy. Sadly, even though the youth idolize lower weight, most end up going the way of Kelly.
So what if Kelly gained a little weight? She actually looks like a real woman instead of the tiny sticks that our youth idolizes today. And to all of you who keep saying how fat she is and how horrible she looks, go take a look in the mirror. I’m sure none of you are perfect and good for her that she can flaunt her body and feel comfortable in her own skin instead of you low lives who sit here and criticize her. In the end none of you or her opinions mean nothing to her and don’t affect her life in the slightest. So just shut up.
Wow. I knew who the 3 guys were but in no way did I think that was Kelly. Man she got really fat. Looks like this is an ad for seating “space” with 4 obese people. Sorry to say that. Not to be mean but it is true and sad. Just look at the opening of the ad with the silhouettes.
I found the statement “for most people it is Kelly Clarkson with three fat men” to be quite humorous. My first thought was, “Who’s the fat chick with Chris Berman, Andrew Zimmern, and James Lipton?”

Okay anyone who says she’s not a fat pig in this advertisement is a liar and is probably fat themselves! All that being said, who cares? So she gained weight; who hasn’t? I would agree her costume designer needs to be shot! no sleeves on a fat girl is a no go yo! Gee wiz I bet you a stack of large bills Toyota new how much people would chat about Kelly because of her weight gain and that’s why they booked her on this commercial. Heh heh. This is funny. I googled “who is the hottie with Chris Berman in the Camry commercial” to get here. IMHO Kelly is a babe and now I regret that I didn’t watch some Idol that season. I’d like to get Kelly in the back seat and hear he…could…go…all…the…way.

The only one I recognized was James Lipton. And…even though I now know the names of the other three, I have absolutely no idea who they are. Never, ever heard of any of them.
I recognized them as the sports announcer, the movie guy, and the food guy, I figured she was a singer but googled fat singer in camry and here I am. I like thick girls but she does not look good. She’s carrying the weight in the wrong places face/arms.

WOW, you people are amazing. It is ridiculous that in our society today people think that Kelly Clarkson is “fat”. You people should rethink your definition of “fat” or “thick”. It sickens me that a women as beautiful as Kelly in this commercial would be considered “fat”. Maybe all of you think that every women should be a skin and bones model type, but I for one love a women that has a little bit of meat on her bones.

I recognized all the guys. Especially James Lipton, thanks to Will Ferrell, LOL! And Kelly Clarkson is hot! I love that she’s a little thicker than her pop singing counterparts.

I agree with those that googled “who is the chunky/chubby girl in camry commercial”. She is the only one I couldn’t place. I was surprised that it is Kelly Clarkson, I do know who she is and have seen here on tv in American Idol and commericials before; but apparently it was a long time ago because don’t look like her to me.
P.S. I’m calling chunky chunky, not judging chunky, cause I’m in that catergory myself; been there for half a dozen years now.
I’m with H Miller. I finally caught it on DVR so I could pause it and ask the hubby his opinion. He thought she was ‘probably some fat chick from DWTS’ . I googled ‘ fat girl in Camry ad’ and it brought me here. Kelly Clarkson needed a better stylist for this commercial. While it’s true she’s gained some weight, she is still beautiful. However, in this commercial she’s unrecognizable. I think that’s what is so disconcerting – we think we should know her, yet she seems so different. If we were looking at her anew, she would be attractive. Make sense?

Kelly Clarkson looks awful in this commercial. She looks overweight in the face and arms. It is probably a bad combination of the hair color, strapless top, and the make-up of a 40-year old, but she looks very bad.
Yeah, I was the opposite. I immediately recognized the three gentlemen, but had no idea who the girl was. I don’t even remember what she looked like before so I wont comment on her current appearance.

i for one was in the total opposite of the “who is that?” spectrum. i DID ask myself who is the girl with Zimmern and them? i recognize The Actor’s Studio’s host and Zimmern and even though i’m not into sports, i recognize the sports commentator. so i googled and was surprised to find out it WAS Kelly…so for “most” who don’t know these guys, apparently i’m by assumption the ones on the side of knowing, and consider this just my opinion, but Kelly just another Pop Star, who had her moment and music moved on to the next.
It is Chris Berman, also yes she does look fat. She is a celebrity, and is a woman of course I am going to notice her weight. Mitch you are lying to yourself if you don’t notice this. Don’t act so elitist.

I agree. I thought Kelly looked pretty good, only I barely recognized her.due to the long hair and bangs. Either I am showing my age by knowing all four people or my embarrassing preoccupation with pop culture. In fact the person I recognized was James Lipton!
