Thanks to the Internet we can have an early look at Lexus’ brand-new concept car for 2012 Detroit Motor Show.

The car appeared in a video that Road&Track magazine had uploaded to Youtube apparently previewing the upcoming issue’s cover. The video has been removed now, but as always car bloggers were quick enough to grab the picture and publish it.

The car, named LF-Lc, is in the same size as the LF-A supercar. It could very well be a facelifted LF-A, but the name and the styling hint at a more conventional production model, probably the new SC grand tourer. It features Lexus’ new signature front grille and the front bumper is also very similar to the new GS. If it’s the new SC, then 2013 Mercedes SL is going to be in trouble!

Lexus will probably release official pictures and details of this car sooner than expected now that this picture is out. So stay tuned.
