After the Tributo Ferrari, Abarth now pays tribute to another great Italian car maker, Maserati.
To debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the 695 Tributo Maserati is what they’ve come up. Based on the Fiat 500C, the car is limited to only 499 units and has a tuned version of Abarth 1.4 liter turbo engine developing 180hp.
The power is good, but the car is all about visuals and styling. It features Pontevecchio Bordeaux paint finish, 17-inch Maserati design wheels, sport suspension, brakes and exhausts with Maserati tips. The brakes are from Brembo with 305mm discs and four-piston calipers.
The marvelous interior features fine Poltrona Frau leather upholstery, carbon fiber trims, and a leather-wrapped custom steering wheel.
No words on pricing yet, but such a special and limited production car, especially with Maserati name on it, won’t be cheap.
