This time Swiss designers teamed up with British engineers to try and make a worthy replica of the Jaguar E-Type.
They realized if they want to pull it off, they have to make the car in Britain. So the factory, Lyonheart Cars where it will be built in limited numbers is in Coventry.
It’ll be very advanced of course, made from a blend of carbon fiber and aluminum, with an interior full of leather, wood, stainless steel, brushed aluminum and chrome, with no carbon fiber knocking about.
The engine will be a 550hp supercharged V8 probably from Jaguar XKR, providing great performance with 0 to 60 in just over 4 seconds and top speed of about 186mph.
The most critical bit is, of course, the design. As mentioned it’s designed in Switzerland and that is probably why it has some not-so-good details like the headlights, or the side vents, which are just not Jaguarish. They will make 50 units of the car, each priced at about 580,000 Euro or 655,000 USD.
The name is also a bit weird, but at least they didn’t call it the Growler!
