SEAT released the first pictures of the new Toledo, which will be revealed – in concept form – at the Geneva Motor Show next week.

It’s called a concept, but it is to all intents and purposes the production Toledo. The new mid-size sedan boasts SEAT’s new design DNA, which as far as we can work out is exactly the same as before!

Or maybe that’s character. The car has a character instantly recognizable as a SEAT. It’s not very pretty though, to be honest.

The Toledo measures at 4.48 metres in length and has space for five people inside. With a luggage compartment of more than 500 litres, those five guys should have no problem loading their stuff int the car and go on a trip together. What’s more the new Toledo possesses a large rear hatch for optimum loading.

There is nothing special about the Toledo’s cabin. It’s very ordinary, but well-designed and, because of VW connections, well-made too.

Engine lineup and detailed specs will be announced at the show.
