TRD, or Toyota Racing Development, is TMC’s performance division. They are basically a bunch of race and tuning guys who pick up the slacks whenever Toyota engineers fail to address the issue of excitement in their cars. For the Toyota GT86, TRD offers a range of enhancements including uprated suspension with new front and rear anti-roll bars, 18-inch wheels, rear diffuser, additional cross-bracing and a high-response exhaust system.

the exhaust system is what’s featured in this video. The TRD treatment does not help the 200bhp engine to pump more power, but boy does it sound good.
