It’s been a while since we last saw Tiff Needell on the track, but now that he’s joined Evo Magazine team, we’re going to see more and more of him. In his first gig for Evo, Tiff takes two of the hottest sports cars in the market to the Bedford Autodrome for a head to head battle. The old man does a flying lap in each of the car to see if Porsche’s lightweight is any match for the GTR’s brute force.

Well, turns out it isn’t. The Porsche might be light on its feet, but there’s getting away from the fact that the Godzilla has 150 more horsepower and benefits from the advantages of four-wheel-drive.

So it’s faster, quite a lot faster. But we’d take the Porsche every time. The 991 is much more fun to drive, and it’s far less geeky than the Nissan. Oh, it also looks much better.
