Although it might be a bit too soon to star speculating about the GT3 version of the new Porsche 911, after all we’re still waiting for the Carrera 4 versions to be unveiled, but auto artist went ahead and P’shopped these nice renderings here to give us an early look at the new sports car. The actual car will be revealed in 2013.
Seeing as the recipe for making the GT3 has always been the same, you don’t have to squeeze your brain too hard to imagine it. The Porsche 911 GT3 comes with a revised front bumper featuring a spoiler lip, different side skirts, revised rear bumper incorporating a racing diffuser unit, and a signature fixed rear wing.
Inside, you get a roll bar instead of the back seats, and carbon fiber and suede instead of chrome and leather. But it’s not all stripped-out like the GT3-RS. You still get an air-con unit, stereo, and optional navigation system. Oh, you also get more power.
Because of its features, the GT3 has always been regarded as the best version of the 911. It is the best compromise between performance and convenience.
