Eterniti Motors announced they have received five orders for the Porsche Cayenne-based Artemis SUV during the Beijing Auto Show. Four of them are for normal Artemis models which run for £210,000 apiece, and one for a highly bespoke version, the price of which will depend o the final specs of the car. So the small London-based tuner/car maker is off to a good start.

This first order will being in well over £1 million, and seeing as the car is base don the Cayenne and Eterniti didn’t have to develop anything as such, most of that will be revenue. Eterniti is aiming for sales of only 30-40 cars this year. First deliveries are scheduled for this autumn.

The standard Artemis is a pretty special piece of kit. It features a bespoke body kit that shares very little with the car on which it’s based, a hand-crafted interior with finest leathers, veneers including natural woods, piano black and carbon fibre, twin reclining rear seats with heating and cooling, iPad-ready holders with electronic reveal, and a drinks chiller, 23-inch wheels, and a tuned V8 turbo engine with 600 hp which does 0-100 km/h in 4.5 secs and exceeds 290 km/h.

We were really pleased with the response, especially as the cars displayed in Beijing were running prototypes rather than dedicated show cars, and the quality and detailing will be far superior in full production,” says Global Sales Director Marcus Kenny.
