One of the most highly anticipated cars to be revealed in 2012 is the new McLaren hyper car, the replacement for the legendary F1, the car we know by its P12 codename. There have been a couple of different renderings speculating what would this new McLaren look like, and they shared only a few common features. Here’s a new one by Iacoski, based on the McLaren MP4-12C.

This artist’s renderings suggest the F1 successor will have a tame design, while the signs we’re receiving from legit sources point to the contrary. This car here can be considered as a very nice facelift for the MP4, adding a little drama to its rather dull design. But as a replacement for the F1, well, that car is too important to have an MP4-like design. Nice try though.
