In this episode of Big Muscle, Mike Musto heads to Chicago to meet with Dru Diesner and his $500 “piece of junk” 1972 Chevrolet Nova. Well, it would have been a piece of junk if it weren’t for the monster that lives under the bonnet. You see, this Nova might look stock, but underneath it isn’t actually a Nova. It’s powered by a twin supercharged LS2 engine that makes 1,160 hp. That much horsepower can even make a garbage truck look interesting!

Having that kind of power in such an innocuous-looking car is definitely a unique experience. You can have plenty of fun with it at the dragstrip, challenging the big boys. It is still a piece of junk though, isn’t it?
