A Chevrolet dealer in the UK came up with a rather weird publicity stunt, in which they wanted to see how many rugby player can be fitted into a Chevrolet Aveo (Sonic). They went to Hove Rugby Club, and announced the winner team will be awarded with new kits for their players. That incentive was provoking enough for 16 members of Hove RFC who squeezed themselves into the little Chevy.

The previous record had been set by 11 rugby players at another club in the UK.The RFC guys somehow managed to find room for another five. It must have been quite uncomfortable, and really awkward, for these guys, especially as they’re not exactly small fellas. But hey, they won a new set of kit!

Robert Robinson, Marketing Manager at Frosts Chevrolet said:  “It was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. I honestly didn’t know if they could beat the current record, but they smashed it!  We’ve really enjoyed the association with Hove RFC, both the club and Frosts are celebrating their 60th anniversaries this year, so it was obviously a great fit in more ways than one!

Andy Ward from Hove RFC said “Thank you so much to all at Frosts. We’re really happy that we managed to smash the current record. It was huge fun and we’re all proud of this absolutely fantastic achievement!
